Medusa tips and tricks

Use the search result from an search engine to search the Internet with Medusa.
Visit one of the major search engines and search for what kinds of files you are
looking. The search will result in a different URL in your Internet browser. "Cut" it and "Paste"
this URL in the Starting URL field in the New project window in Medusa. Then start your search.
This makes Medusa search all the pages that the search engine has found.

Starting your search from a web page made up of frames.
Right-click on the link that opens up the page that you want to start your search from.
On the menu that appears choose "Copy shortcut". Then go to Medusa and right-click in the Starting
URL field in the New project window and choose "Paste". This will start your search from a web page
located inside frames.

Finding links to start a search from.
The easiest way of finding links to sites that contains files is to visit our free-for-all-links
post. This is located in our link post that you can access by clicking on the link in the
sidebar. There you will find a variety of links that can be entered into Medusa.
