Adware component in Medusa 1.0
Medusa 1.0 used a component to get and display ads. This component is not needed anymore since Medusa 1.1 is free from ads and to be sure that it is removed from your system follow these steps:
1. Open the Windows Start-menu.
2. Select Settings and then choose Control Panel.
3. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
4. Locate and select "Medusa ads support" in the list.
5. Press the Add/Remove button.
6. Finished!
Note: You can also use Ad-Aware to remove this ad component (as well as other ad components) on your system. But be careful because other programs you have installed might also use the component and will probably stop working!
Instructions for definite removal and on how to check that the Cydoor adware component has been removed will be posted in the next few days.
