Medusa by Candego offers effortless retrieval of files located on websites. You no longer need to manually
search through all the different web sites you have to visit when you are looking for some files. With medusa
you will never miss a file because a website has a layout from hell. Medusa automatically explores all links
on web pages so if there are pages containing the files you want you never have to waste time on the
annoying false links or feel that you may have missed something. With Medusa you go and get the good
stuff right away!
The only thing you need is a web address that you type in the search field in the program. While
the program is searching the sites you will see thumbnails appear representing all the files
available for download. We guarantee that the result will blow you away!
You can then easily choose which files you want to download and where to. This is achieved by using
standard drag-and-drop technique that is possible because the Medusa user interface is modelled after
the Microsoft Windows explorer. You start downloading files at once when you drag it into a folder on your hard
disk, double-click on them or if choose download from the right click menu. If you highlight every file
and download them then all the jpg files, one after another, will appear in any given number of download
windows while they are being downloaded. From Medusa it is of course possible to open any web page in your
Internet browser which contains files that you have found with Medusa.
When you start Medusa and change the settings these will be saved and be the default settings for the
next search you make. Soon you will surely have a large number of different websites recorded in your
Favorites folder. You can even make a new search of these websites to see if the files on the pages have been
changed. This just by choosing the domain name from the Favorites window containing all the domains you have
added.
Easily configure the program any way you like and enjoy the user-friendly interface. If you can
handle the explorer in Microsoft Windows you already know how to use Medusa! |
