2005-09-18 Medusa 1.2 build 35 released
Two issues in Medusa has been updated in this version. An error in browsing and choosing a new
destination folder for downloaded files has been corrected. Also, the graphics in the thumbnails
has been adjusted to support multiple color schemes in the operating system. The new version can be downloaded from : Medusa v1.2 Build 35 To verify that you are running the latest version, check that the "Build number" in the "About"-box in Medusa says "Build 35". |

2005-04-17 Medusa 1.2 build 33 now available!
This new version fixes a problem that Medusa has had with a few web sites. When Medusa
received a request it reported it as a "Bad Request" in the Errors tab in the progress
window. Medusa now handles these requests properly. The new version can be downloaded from : Medusa v1.2 Build 33 To verify that you are running the latest version, check that the "Build number" in the "About"-box in Medusa says "Build 33". |

2004-10-19 Update to Medusa 1.2 available!
When visited by Medusa, or an Internet browser, websites report that the size of files is
of a certain size but on some sites the actual size of the file sent when requested by download is
much less. This has presented a problem to both Medusa and browsers who expected the amount of data received
to be equal to the amount reported. Medusa has now been modified to handle this problem when encountering
websites with this reporting error. The new version can for now only be downloaded from : Medusa v1.2 Build 27 We have also made some internal improvements to Medusa regarding amongst other things messages in the progress window, the handling of thumbnails and optimization of downloads. |

2004-02-26 Medusa 1.2 released!
Medusa version 1.2 has now been officially released after an extensive test period. We at Candego
are proud to present the new version that contains a number of new features, enhancements and
quite a lot of improvements. A few of the new features in this version include : - Support for password restricted websites. - It supports viewing of 25 different image formats. - Automatic download and customized renaming of files. - Pause and resume of downloads in progress.
