Depth

What does depth mean? Basically depth is the number of links in levels you want Medusa to follow in its' search for files.

If you set depth to 0 Medusa will only search the Url entered in the "Starting url" field in the "New project" window. Medusa then displays the files that are located on that single page if they are of the same filetype that you specified in the New project window.

If you specify depth to 1 Medusa will follow all the links found on the start page and then stop following links when it has found all the pages those links led to. Files located on the first and following pages that Medusa finds will be displayed in the program.

If you enter 2 then Medusa will first search through the page you specified in Medusa and follow the links from there to new pages. Then Medusa will search through those pages for links and follow them more pages. At the same time that Medusa is searching for new pages by following links it searches for files that are located on the pages it finds.
